Marée (coffee)

The only place to get a LA coffee in Carteret County. Opens at 10am.

Beaufort Grocery (breakfast and lunch)

Another longtime local favorite. Great for sit-down lunch, especially known for sandwiches and Carolina Caviar. Walk-ins usually work, but reservations are encouraged for larger groups. They also offer dinner and have an enchanting outdoor patio and bar.

Rhumbar (lunch)

Go for painkillers (Level 2)! A fun waterfront restaurant in renovated boathouse with seasonal seafood entrees.

Moonrakers (lunch and dinner)

Coastal cuisine set on the water with rooftop dining and a bar overlooking Taylor's Creek.

Royal James (lunch and dinner)

No frills spot, but it’s a Beaufort institution that's been around since Quinn's grandfather was a rebellious teenager. Known for their burgers.

The Shark Shack (lunch)

A personal favorite of the Ainslie family. Very casual, and always worth the wait. As the name implies, it’s a go-to for seafood prepared nearly any way you can imagine.

Idle Hour Biergarten (lunch)

Right on the beach in the Atlantic Beach Circle, Idle Hour is a great lunch spot. Serving everything from bratwurst to local fish tacos, plus an impressive beer selection.

Oceanana Pier House (lunch or dinner)

Audrey & Quinn's go-to dinner spot and the also best place to watch sunset. Recently reopened, the restaurant at the pier is great for dinner and drinks. Make sure you check out the bar at the end of the pier if you're feeling adventurous!

Island Grille (dinner)

One of the best restaurants on the island, with daily specials and a wonderful atmosphere. Due to its size and popularity, reservations are recommended.

Atlantic Beach Seafood

If you prefer to go straight to the source for your seafood, you won’t be disappointed here. A well-kept secret: they also make made-to-order fish sandwiches, including what we think is the best softshell crab sandwich in the area.

**Please note: The Beaufort Hotel shuttle will be available at 6:00 pm on Friday and 4:30 pm on Saturday for anyone who may miss the scheduled departure times. These shuttles are available every half hour and are a first come, first serve amenity to all hotel guests.
